Martin Benton

Martin K. Benton was born on February 7, 1960, to the late Nathaniel Benton and Fannie Mae Benton. He worked at UAMS Hospital for years.

Martin enjoyed fishing in his leisure and could sing and dance with the best of them.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Nathaniel Benton and Fannie Mae Benton, a special Aunt Velma Kendrix who raised him, five brothers, John L. Benton, Willie Benton, Charles Ray Benton, Herman L. Benton, Johnny L. Benton, one adopted brother Ivory Purifoy, and one adopted sister Jeanette Smith.

Martin leaves his cherished memories to his five sisters, Diane (Douglas) Steward of Little Rock, AR; Calion Ann (John) Caldwell of Crossett, AR; Linda Benton of Little Rock, AR, Jimmie Ann Benton of Little Rock, AR; Dorothy McLaughlin of Pontiac Michigan, two brothers Earnest Chambliss and James (Mary) Traylor.
