Kendric O. Sumler

Kendric “Fat” Sumler was born November 26, 2009, in El Dorado, Arkansas to Kenyatta Sumler and Clevette Reed White. He transitioned from this earthly life Sunday, June 25, 2017 in El Dorado Arkansas. Kendric accepted Christ. He again confessed his faith in Christ again at vacation bible school at New Life. He was so excited that he returned and sang “Got the Devil Under My Feet” on Sunday, June 18th. He was preceded in death by his great grandfather, Wallace James Cutter. Fat is survived by his parents, Kenyatta Sumler and Clevette (Maurice) Reed White all of El Dorado; his maternal grandparents, Gary and Patrice Cutter of El Dorado Arkansas and Jeff Reed of Little Rock, Arkansas; his paternal grandparents, Jewell and Pamela Mayweather of Hampton, AR; great grandmother, CleVester Cobb Williams; four sisters, Kortini Sumler, Clevetta Powell, JerMia Powell and Kendra Sumler of El Dorado Arkansas; one brother, Kenyatta Sumler of El Dorado AR; two step-sisters, Maddisen Livingston and Jadien Livingston and a host of other relatives and friends. Public visitation will be Thursday, June 29, 2017 from 12 noon - 6 pm at Sims Mortuary. Funeral services will be at 11:00 am on Friday, June 30, 2017 at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church with Pastor John Elliott, eulogist. Interment will be at Lott Burgy Cemetery under the direction of Sims Mortuary.
