God Giveth
Deacon Willie B. Miller was born to Mr. Leon and Bertha Freeman Miller on January 26, 1935, in Eldorado Arkansas. His growth in Christ started at an early age at Little Bethel Baptist Church. Deacon Miller served for many years at Little Bethel and was a very active member. Deacon Miller served as a Deacon, he served as the usher president, he also served as a member of the finance team. Deacon Miller was a very hard worker at the church. He headed the maintenance team in the church. He was the caretaker of the graveyard at the church. Deacon Miller served faithfully under the leadership of his only brother, Pastor Leon Miller Jr. Later in life Deacon Miller attended and served as the “Chief Deacon” at the New Beginning Church of God in Christ under the leadership of Bishop Herman Hayes Jr. in Eldorado AR.
On January 22, 1954, Deacon Willie B. Miller gave his hand and heart to Mother Myrtle Lee Clemons and was joined in Holy matrimony. They shared a lifetime of love, joy, and unity. Together they grew in Christ and learned to acknowledge Christ in their daily walk.
God Taketh
The blessed and fruitful life of Deacon Willie B. Miller ended when God called his faithful servant home, Tuesday, September 20, 2022.
He was preceded in death by wife Myrtle Miller; children, Norma Blackmon, Emma E. Miller, Lennie R. Miller, Tony D. Miller, Steven B. Miller
He leaves to cherish his memory seven sons: Bishop Herman Hayes Jr. (Delores), Willie B. Miller Jr., Superintendent Eddie L. Miller (Edwina), Elder Rickey L. Miller Sr. (Charlotte), Marvin D. Miller, Michael L. Miller (Veronica), William M. Miller. Six daughters, Msn. Bertha D. Mitchell, Myrtle C. Easter (Darryl), Msn. Beverly S. Ross (Jeremy), Msn. Stephanie E. Owens (Cashaundee), Shymecca T. Hill, Msn. Dornisha R. Boyd (Jackie). Two special granddaughters: Mydeana Bridges and Jeanie Meeks. One brother Rev. Leon Miller Jr. (Helen), One sister Evangelist Erma J. Britt. A host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. Many relatives and friends.
Deacon Willie B. Miller’s memories will forever be cherished by his family and friends.
