William Lee Brock

William Lee Brock was born July 31, 1950, to the late Jerome “Jep” Brock and the late Eva McKelpin Brock at Charity Hospital in New Orleans, LA. He transitioned Thursday, October 10th after a long-fought battle at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock, AR.

“Brock”, as he was referred to by many, the eleventh of twelve children, was nicknamed “Donald Ray”. He spent his early years in Franklinton, LA and attended Washington Parish High School before relocating to Pearl River with his Mother. He enjoyed working on cars as well as helping construct homes in the area.

William later moved to New Orleans where he met and married Joyce Marie. To this union, three boys were born. In the late ’80s, Brock decided to make El Dorado, AR his home and there he remained.

Over the years he worked on several jobs and made a great number of friends. He was charismatic, loved people, loved good music and dancing and in his day he was known to “dress to impress”!

William was proceeded in death by his Father, his Mother; three brothers, C. J. Brock, Larry J. Brock and Julius Smith and his beloved sister, Alberta L. Smith.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Joyce Marie Brock; three sons, Adam Lee Brock (Latammiul) of Little Rock, AR Donald Ray Brock of El Dorado, AR, Ryenn Christopher Brock of Memphis, TN and Terrance Dunn (Jaleesa) of North Richland Hills, TX; two daughters, LaChandra Thomas (Ricco) of Baton Rouge, LA and Sasha Williams (Vernon) of El Dorado, AR; three brothers, George Brock-Bilal (Rose) of Franklinton, LA, Tommie Wayne Brock (Caledonia) and Billy Ray Brock of Farmerville, LA; three sisters, Bessie Mae Warren of Farmerville, LA, Jessie Mae Brock of New Orleans, LA and Easter Mae Foxworth of Farmerville, LA; fourteen grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews, family and friends.
