Tabatha Shontay Andrews

July 18, 1985 — May 9, 2018

Tabatha was the sweet and caring young lady with an "old soul" that people just gravitated to. At the age of ten she was diagnosed with type one diabetes and struggled with it for quite some time. While battling this fight she never gave up and continued to still crack jokes and be the life of the party.

She was the second born daughter of Gary Andrews and Sharon Andrews-Lewis and right from the start it seemed like she had been on this earth before because of the wisdom she displayed at an early age. Graduated from Spearsville High School in 2003 and although she didn't attend college she had plans for the future to do so to become a nutritionist. Besides being the charming, witty, joking, eccentric person she was, she also spent most of her time being a dedicated aunt to her nieces and nephews.

Tabatha, better known by "Shontay" always had tremendous faith in the Lord but it wasn't until last year she took the leap of establishing a church home with the New Olive Branch Baptist Church.  For the past few months she had been trying to get baptize but due to her being in and out the hospital it delayed the process. On Sunday May 6th she was finally able to be baptized freed from the old life into the new life.

Wednesday morning May 9th God decided to end her suffering on this earth & call her home to glory to be healed and made whole with him.

She's preceded in transition by her maternal grandparents and paternal grandparents, first cousin Carlton Williams, and nephew Kendric "Fat" Sumler.

She leaves to forever cherish her memory: her parents, Gary and Patrice Andrews of El Dorado, AR; Sharon and Jerome Lewis of Smackover, AR and Joyce Murphy of El Dorado, AR;

Five sisters, Erica Andrews, Chotsie and Ashley Murphy, Clevette (Maurice) White, and Myesha Brown all of El Dorado, AR;
