Rocity and Jonah Candley were the proud parents of 12 wonderful children, even though their house was full, their hearts were not. So on November 28th 1939 the Angels got together and decided to create a dream come true, giving them Lucky #13, a beautiful baby girl they named Sula. She met and married the love of her life Tim Carson on March 13th 1954; to this union they added 8 extraordinary children.
She was baptized at an early age in Crossett, AR, Later joining First Saint James M.B.C. under the leadership of L.D. Champion where she held the position of Church Clerk and Usher until her relocation to Richmond, California uniting with Greater ST. Paul M.B.C. serving in the capacity of Church Mother, and 1/3 of the Golden Girls until God called her home.
