Shirley Faye Foster

Mrs. Shirley Faye Moody was born on August 25, 1948, in El Dorado, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Alvin and Mary Moody.

She departed this life on Sunday, May 1, 2022, at her residence after a lengthy illness. She was preceded in death by her parents, the late Alvin and Mary Moody, and three brothers; James Moody, Lonnie Hicks, and Johnny Carroll Moody.

At an early age, she united with Douglas Chapel Baptist Church.

She was employed with Prescolite and retired after several years of dedicated service. She loved spending time with family, fishing, shopping, arts & crafts, and caring for house plants.

She was united in holy matrimony with Charles E. Foster on October 12, 1967. To this union, three children were born.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Charles Foster, two sons, Anthony and Timothy Foster (Syreeta), both of El Dorado, Arkansas, one daughter, Kimberly Baker (Nakia) of El Dorado, Arkansas; two sisters, Mittie Savannah of Dallas, Texas and Ola Pearl Tidwell of El Dorado, Arkansas, six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
