Shawn Samuels

Shawn Derail Samuels was born on August 29, 1990, to Ray Charles Samuels and the late Linda (Miller) Samuels. On Saturday, October 7, 2023, God's heavenly Angels came and picked another one of his beautiful flowers.

He was born in San Diego, CA, and moved to El Dorado, AR August 2023; he resided in Dallas, TX, with his wife and three children.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Linda Samuels, great grandparents John and Clara (Alderson) Tubbs; grandmothers, Carrie Tubbs and Veola Gray; Four Uncles, Bobby Gray, Thomas Gray, Marvin Gay, Leroy Davis; and one Aunt, Lois Miller.

He leaves to cherish his memories: His wife, Brooke G. Reid-Samuels of Dallas, TX; one son, Klayton Reid, one daughter Maddison Reid and one bonus son Kamdon Mosely of Dallas, TX. Father Ray Charles Samuels; four brothers, Demarcus Miller, Ray (Nettie) Charles Jr. of Dallas, TX, Alfonso Hampton, Ray Samuel III of San Diego, CA, God sister Myieka Laverne of Houston, TX, grandfather Anderson Miller of El Dorado, AR. Four uncles, James Gray, Freddy Miller, Billy R. Miller, and Minister Robert Miller of El Dorado, AR; Four Aunts, Shirley William Nettie of San Diego, CA, Clara Miller of El Dorado, AR, Linda Scott of Camden, AR, and a host of nieces, cousins, and other friends who will miss him dearly.
