Samuel Frazier

October 17, 1953 — October 27, 2021

Samuel (Sammie) Selvester Frazier was born October 17, 1953, in Monroe, LA, to the late Nobie Jr and Earnestine Frazier (Ross). To this union, ten children were born. He departed to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 27, 2021, at South Arkansas Medical Center. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Larry (Hanny) Frazier.

Sammie joined New Mt. Union Baptist Church at an early age and was a member until his death. He was a 1971 graduate of Junction City High School and earned his CDL from South Arkansas Community College in 2008. He was a hard worker beginning his career at Prescolite. He worked various jobs in between and ended his career working for the city of El Dorado. He loved giving back to the community and was a Boy Scout Leader for several years.

Sammie loved the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, grilling, gardening, and mowing yards for family and friends. He was a dedicated and loving father and grandfather.

He leaves to cherish his memories two sons, Jeffory Frazier of Houston, TX, Eric Frazier of El Dorado, AR; two daughters, Vicky Baker (Willie) of North Little Rock, AR, Phrnice Pigrum (Harvey) of Ft. Worth, TX; Four brothers, Otha Frazier (Vivian) of Racine, WI, Pastor Donald Frazier (Mildred) of Colorado Springs, CO, Rev. Melvin Frazier (Vickey) of Junction City, LA and Vernon Frazier of Shreveport, LA; four sisters, Carolyn Williams of Denver, CO, Mary Grayson of Junction City, AR, Gwendolyn Frazier of Junction City, LA and Diana Henderson of El Dorado, AR; twelve grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
