Namon was born December 4, 1950, to the late Dr. William and Lula Jamerson of El Dorado, AR. Namon left his earthly home to be with the Lord on July 13, 2024, at Baptist Health Medical Center in North Little Rock, AR.

Namon confessed a hope in Christ at an early age at First Baptist Church- Cordell under the late Rev. T.P. Johnson during the early 60s. He was a 1968 graduate of Washington High School and studied music at Southern State University (Southern Ark University) in Magnolia, AR.

He loved singing. He performed in high school and college bands and choirs. He was a successful insurance agent who later relocated to Houston, TX, and became a successful auto salesman. He was recognized as a top salesman multiple times during his years of employment.

Namon loved deep sea fishing,carpentry, painting, and cement finishing. He also possessed a talent in culinary arts where he became known as the master of the grill. Namon loved family.He loved his nieces and nephews dearly and did not hesitate to share wisdom and candid advice of life with them. He loved life and loved the Lord God as his personal Savior. He was often seen worshiping and singing to God as he worked.

Namon returned home to El Dorado to care for his father.

He was united in holy matrimony to La Donna Kay Jones, who stood by his side as his caretaker through his trying health. He then united with Victory Church of El Dorado under the leadership of Pastor Jonathan Ables, aka "Pastor Cricket." He served in ministry faithfully until his failing health.

Namon Leaves to cherish his memory his loving and devoted wife, La Donna Kay Jones Jamerson; two daughters, Ashley Williams of Houston, TX, and Kayla Huey Jamerson of Monticello, AR; three sons, Steven and Brandon Huey, both of El Dorado, AR and Christopher Huey of Little Rock, AR; one sister, Patricia Jamerson (Morris) Ellis of Pearland, TX; five brothers, William N. (Sandra) Jamerson of El Dorado, AR, Dr. Ronald E. Jamerson (Sheryl) Schererville, IN, Ricky Joe Jamerson of Houston, TX, Kenneth T. Jamerson of Colorado and Tracy M. (Barbara) of El Dorado, AR; and a host of nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
