Michael Ray Freeman was the fourth child and first son, born to the union of Flossie Mae Dykes and Eddie Deon Freeman Jr., born in El Dorado, AR on January 5, 1953. Michael made his transition from his earthly home to his heavenly home on Sunday, November 3, 2024, at Spring Hill Hospital in North Little Rock, AR. When growing up, Michael attended Fairview Church of God In Christ under Elder L.A. Austin and later the Community Church of God In Christ under Supt. Rickey Matheney.
Michael was a member of El Dorado High School Class of 1971. He studied Auto Salvage Co. Michael Married Doris Thurmon. He loved fast Muscle Cars. He later worked for Norris Trucking Co., obtained his Commercial Driver's License, and went on to Drive for Anthony Lumber Co. and Apex Cement Co. before he retired.
He is preceded in death by his parents, two sons, Juwan Burns and Andrew Freeman, and one sister, Jean Evelyn Sanders.
He leaves to cherish his memories four sisters, Christa Daniels of Longview, TX, Gerald Riley of El Dorado, AR, Hattie Brannon of Kilgore, TX, and Eva Frazier of El Dorado, AR, and one brother, Charles Freeman of El Dorado, AR. One daughter, Tina Freeman of El Dorado, AR, and four sons, Michael Ray Freeman Jr., Michael Joe Freeman, Kevin Freeman, and Jacoby Freeman, all of El Dorado, AR, and seven grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, classmates, and friends.
