Sister Melanee Renee Wilson was born August 1, 1982, in Monroe, La to Johnny Ray Wilson and Shelia Diane Thompson Wilson-Gibson. She departed this life on July 27. 2023 at Medical Center of South Arkansas.

Melanee' accepted Christ at a young age was baptized at Zion Hill M. B.C. Later in life, she moved to El Dorado, Arkansas, she visited and fellowship at various churches.

She joined Old Path C.O.G.I.C. in El Dorado, Arkansas. She knew the word of God, which her mother instilled in her at an early age.

Melanee' was born with a heart condition. She never let it stop her from living a full and adventurous life. She loved family, and she loved making others around her laugh with her sense of humor. She enjoyed playing dominoes with family and friends. She never met a stranger; she was loved by everyone around her.

She was preceded in death by her Maternal grandparents Curtis L. Underwood and Helen J. Thompson, Paternal grandparents Herman Wilson Sr. and Mary L. Wilson

Melanee' leaves to cherish her memories: Parents Johnny Ray Wilson and wife Deborah of Camden, Arkansas. Her mother  Shelia Diane Gibson of El Dorado, Arkansas. Brother Christopher Thompson and wife Vassie of Magnolia, Arkansas. Brother Andre Andrews and wife Markisha of Chicago, Illinois. Her one and only son, Demarcus Wilson of El Dorado, Arkansas. A host of nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
