Louise Dunaway Bailey’s life began on October 9, 1944, when she was born to the late David and Everlean Dunaway in Chatham, Louisiana. She was the eldest of two children. She departed this life on November 6, 2024, at the age of 80, at Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston, Texas. 

She was raised in El Dorado, Arkansas, and attended Washington High School. She worked at Con Agra for over 30 years until her retirement. On August 6, 1962, she married the late Henry Bailey of Smackover, Arkansas. Louise and Henry went on to have four children: Undray, Sharon, Lisa, and Shan. 

She was a faithful member of the Union Mission Baptist Church, where she served as the Usher Board President and was active in every capacity where service was needed. 

Throughout her life, Louise found peace and happiness being with her children, grandchildren, and family. She also found joy in cooking for her family and church family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, David and Everlean Dunaway, and baby daughter, Lisa Bailey.

She is survived by her brother James David Dunaway of El Dorado, Arkansas, one son Undray L. Bailey of Puyallup, Washington, two daughters: Sharon Bailey Coombs (Anthoni) of Frisco, Texas and Shan Bailey Whitfield (Kirvin) of Spring, Texas. Four Grandchildren: Shanethea Bailey Calaway (Eric) of Grand Prairie, Texas; CaChay Bailey Green (Robert) of Lacey, Washington; Undray L. Bailey Jr. of Redmond, Washington, and Kolston Whitfield of Spring, Texas; Seven Great Grandchildren: Nyla Calaway, Tavon Calaway, Saleem Green, Essence Green, Solana Green, Jaxxon Bailey, and Draya Bailey.
