Remembering Lilac Rose Moore

Lilac Rose Moore was born January 24, 2018 in Watertown, New York to Marylu Aguilera Moore and La’Vance Da’Kwon Deion Moore.

Lilac “Ladybug” Rose Moore was a happy, playful and joyful baby girl. She loved her mami and daddy. Her personality was sassy, bougie, curious, energetic, and a little country because she never wanted to keep her headbands, socks or shoes on; she always managed to pull them off.

While daddy was still in the Army at Fort Drum, New York Lilac Rose moved from New York to Arkansas in June of 2018 with her mami. They lived with her grandparents, who all loved her with their whole hearts.

Lilac (ladybug, tutu, poppy baby, stank, princess) was always the center of attention wherever she went.  She had that big contagious smile that made everyone want to stop and talk to her, touch her, tell her how beautiful she was or just tell her how much she just made their day.  She loved watching TV early in the morning especially anything with bright colors.  She enjoyed daddy and mami playing music and singing to her.

Lilac was just beginning to crawl and had started saying dada, mama, nana, bye-bye and a few other words we were trying to make out.

She transitioned from this life on Friday, September 14, 2018 at Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Her memories will be cherished by her parents Marylu and La’Vance Moore; her grandparents, Caletha (Orlando) Stewart, Larry (Shun) Moore all of El Dorado, Sandra Aguilera and Moyes Aguilera both from Houston, TX; her great-grandparents, Flossie Stewart, and Issac (Thelma) Miles all of El Dorado, Marilu Aguilera of Marcala la Paz, Honduras, Otilia and Santiago of Houston, TX; one aunt, Becky Aguilera of Houston, TX; seven uncles, Ja’Corey Tate, PJ Denkins, Tre Moore, Jordan Jones, Ryan Stewart all of El Dorado, Henry Rivera, Tony Rivera of Houston, TX, and a host of relatives, extended family, and friends who will forever cherish her memories.

Family visitation will be Friday, September 21, 2018 from 12-5 p.m. at Sims Mortuary. Funeral services will be Saturday, September 22, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Morning Star Baptist Church #2 with Rev.
