Leona "Puss" Browning

A time to be born:

Leona was born in El Dorado, AR on April 17, 1941. She was the daughter of Nora Miller.

A time to change:

At an early age, she accepted Christ as her savior and united with the Shady Grove Baptist Church, but moved to Fellowship until the Lord called her home.

A time to Mourn:

Leona went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 9, 2020, at MCSA. She is preceded in death by her parents Nora Miller,  Children, Raymond Miller, Datrina General, Annie Anderson, and  Paul Browning, Grady Lee Browning, Three sisters, Mary Miller, Joyce Henry, Glady’s Henry, one brother, Arthur Miller.

She leaves to cherish her memories: three sons, Alvin Miller, and Herman Thurman Jr. both of El Dorado, AR, and Larry Miller (Carla) of Dallas, TX; four daughters, Pearlene Williams, Teresa Browning, Erica Browning, and Pattie Waller (Marcus) all of El Dorado, AR. Her life will also be cherished by a brother, Desmond Henry, one uncle,  Anderson Miller, two adopted sons, Mack Williams, and Casey Traylor, and a host of grandchildren, greatgrandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a special friend Sophia Clay, and Martha Waller.

Funeral services Saturday, May 23,220 at 2:30 p.m. at Shady Grove Baptist Church. Interment will be at Shady Grove Cemetery under the direction of Sims Mortuary. Sign the guestbook at simsmortuary.com.
