L.C. Clemons

L.C. "BO" Clemons was born to the late Jodie Clemons & Lula Mae Clemons in El Dorado, Arkansas on April 9, 1959. His life was characterized by a strong devotion to his family and his ability to push beyond the limits, doing whatever it took in order to maintain his level of dedication.

During his early years, he attended El Dorado High School and soon afterward began employment with Ross Nursery, where he worked for several years, fulfilling his love and passion for landscaping. Bo carried the extraordinary gift of taking an ordinary lawn and transforming it into something unique. He resigned from Ross Nursery yet continued his love for landscaping as a hobby, using it to serve others. He was married to the late Veola Clemons for many years. Later, he was employed with Molnaird Brothers Sawmill in Strong, AR. He also spent some of his time working at American Tire and Wheels Exchange in Pine Bluff, Arkansas.

Leaving behind to cherish his loving memories are his fiancé, Lavern Gregory; five sons, Donnie Clemons(Lakenya), Lonnie Clemons, Bobby Gilbert(Kesha), and Willie Gilbert(Hazel) and Anthony Gilbert(Starr); Mother, Lula Mae Clemons; Siblings, Thomas Miller(Maria), Velma Clemons, Earnestine White, Angela Thomas(Elva), James Clemons, Vera Jackson, Gary Jackson(Jackie); and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

L.C. "Bo" Clemons was preceded in death by his father, Jodie Clemons, brother Otis Miller, sister Alice Alford, paternal grandparents Lennie Sr. and Lue Clara Williams, and maternal grandparents Clemmie and Matthew Aaron.
