LaDoris Payne

Sister LaDoris M. Payne was born to the Late Harris and Ceola Payne Sr. On September 21,1950 in Hutttig, AR. She attended Huttig Elementary and Strong High School.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harris and Ceola Payne, Sr.; her sisters, Creola Payne, Dottie Benton, Leatrice Clayton, Lille Govan, and Ida Craig; and one brother, Isadore Payne.

LaDoris accepted Christ at an early age under the leadership of Rev. S.D. Dorsey. She was a faithful choir member and served as an assistant Superintendent of Sunday School. Also, she was faithful to the kitchen ministry.

Later in life after spending time in California and Kansas City, she moved to Milwaukee to become a Governess of Manya and Samara whom she loved dearly. Later she relocated to Boca Raton, Florida to become a Governess to their children.

She departed this earthly life on March 7, 2025, in Boca Raton, Florida. She leaves to cherish her son Roderick Payne of Kansas City, Mo., Gabriel Payne (Pauline) of Milwaukee, WI, her daughter Bershet Payne of Milwaukee, WI., her special daughters Manya Wasserman (Seth) and Samara Block (Andrew) of Boca Raton, Florida. Barbara Breggs of El Dorado, AR, and Cadace Ricks of Huttig, AR. She also leaves to cherish her memories of her grandchildren Johnathan, Corey, Amber, Jacobi, Gabriella, Haley, Mariah, Diamond, Shekima, Bilal, Nadeya, Domenik, Sara, Sruli, Chana, and 12 loving great-grandchildren.

She leaves also two brothers Harris Payne, Jr. (Kiel) of Opelousas, LA, LaHarris Payne of Hutttig, AR and, four sisters, Lovie Andrews of Marion, LA, Joyce Mitchell (George) of Hutttig, AR, Barbara Payne of Huttig, AR, and Virginia McDaniel of El Dorado, AR and her special Sister Debbie Mendeloff (Steve) and Cheryll Mendeloff and a nephew Corey of Boca Raton, Florida.
