Kevin Lynn Miller

Kevin Lynn Miller was born on January 21, 1981, to Pastor Jimmy & Janie Miller. He was the third child out of 5 children, the "only boy" & his parents' "Right-Hand Man."

Growing up, Kevin enjoyed playing sports with his cousins & friends, but nothing compared to his passion for playing the drum set.

Kevin was a faithful member of Shady Grove Baptist Church. He was the lead drummer for the choir. He was an encouraging inspiration for the younger generation of drummers to come.

He attended El Dorado High School until 12th grade, where he participated in the Jr. ROTC Program & the El Dorado High School Marching Band. He was also a drummer for Shady Grove Baptist Church, Sunlight COGIC, & The Anointed Shutes Sisters.

Prior to his health issues, Kevin was employed by local entities in El Dorado: Sonic, ConAgra, & Pizza Pro. He learned work ethics as a paperboy at a young age with his uncle, the Late Robert Shelton, Sr.

Kevin was proceeded in death by his maternal grandparents: Jamie & Velma (Clemons) Shutes. Paternal grandparents: Pete & Lorene (Tubbs) Miller. Sister: Janie Martreese (Miller) Carroll.

Kevin leaves his five children to cherish his memory: Ja'Nya Miller, Kevin Harrison, Ashanti Miller, Di'Avionte Harrison, & Dy'Undria Miller. One bonus daughter: Melajah Edington. One bonus granddaughter: E'mya Edington.

His parents: Pastor Jimmy & Janie Miller. Three sisters: Jimmie Miller-Johnson, Roslyn (Torrance) Dunn, & Brittney Miller.

Six Nephews, Four nieces, two great-nieces, & One great-nephew. A host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, & Friends who will miss him dearly.
