Katie Richardson

Katie M Lewis-Richardson was born on April 23, 1932, to her parents, Earnest and Ruby King Lewis.
She departed this life on June 30, 2023, at Methodist Charlton Hospital, Dallas, Texas.
Katie confessed Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age. She united with Olive Branch Baptist Church, now New Olive Branch Baptist Church, where she was reminded until her death. She served on the kitchen committee there until her health began to fail. She worked at Warner Brown Hospital until it closed in Housekeeping as a supervisor.

She attended Carver Elementary School and Booker T. Washington High School.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Tyree Lewis and Lonnie D. Moore. 2 husbands, Frank Williams and Johnnie Richardson.

She leaves to cherish her memory; her daughter, Lillie (Earl) Kennedy, Cedar Hill, TX, and her Son, Gregory (Shaneeta) Williams, Lancaster. TX., two grandchildren; Roy (Janell) Tanner, Glenn Heights, TX., Kadija Williams, Texarkana, AR.; six great-grandchildren; Jalen Tanner, Donald Ford Jr, Zoie Tanner, Amaziah Ford, Donquavieus Ford, Sydnee Tanner. One great-great Granddaughter, Kadence Tanner. A very special friend Mrs. Cappie Carter and a host of relatives and friends.
