Kanetria Henry

Kanetria Comonique Gatson was born on November 25, 1979, in Farmerville, LA, to Phyllis Gail Gatson. She departed this life on April 4, 2025, at Baptist Health in North Little Rock, AR.

"NeeNee," as she was affectionately called by all who loved her, was a kind, loving, caring, and compassionate individual. She always looked out for everyone and made sure that everyone was well taken care of.

NeeNee attended elementary and middle school in Spearsville and Lillie, LA, and high school at Spearsville High and Strong High School. She was affiliated with the class of 1997 and consequently earned her high school diploma from Arkansas High School in 1999. She also attended Ashworth College and South Arkansas Community College, majoring in business administration, and worked as a Customer Service Representative.

On April 5, 2011, NeeNee was united in holy matrimony to her soulmate, Damon Henry. Although they had no biological children of their own, they were very instrumental in helping to rear nieces, nephews, and cousins.

NeeNee was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Rev. Cleo and Mrs. Alene Gatson, her uncle, Michael Gatson, and her aunt, Takako Gatson Smith. Her sweet and precious memories will be cherished by her devoted and loving husband of 14 years, Damon Henry; her loyal and faithful mother, Phyllis Gatson Lumsey; her "cuzSons," as she so affectionately called them, Drake Johnson, Zachary Gatson, and Christian Smith, her aunts, Felicia Johnson and Rosyn Gatson, uncles, Cleodis (Sharon) Gatson and Hoby (Caren) Gatson, Sr., numerous cousins; other family, and devoted friends.
