Johnny "Leonard” L. Moore Jr.

Johnny Moore Jr. was born July 22, 1955 to Johnny L Moore Sr. and Verlene Taylor in El Dorado, Ark.  Johnny was raised by his grandmother the late Mary Voice in the Morning Star community .

At an early age he confessed Christ to be his Lord and Savior and united with the E & B Church of God in Christ. Later in life he never physical joined another church but attend the Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church #2.

He On August 6,2019 he passed away at the Medical Center of South Arkansas .He preceded in death by his father and mother a brother James Smith and his grandmother who raised him Mary Voice .

Johnny memories will be cherished by Jerome Moore (Vanessa) and Patina Moore both of El Dorado, Ar. Contrina Moore of Pine Bluff,Ar and Fredrick Blunt of Hampton,Va. His siblings Terry Moore of Dallas,Tx Angela Smith , Theresa Frinks, Lauretta Taylor, Lois Williams ,Vivian Taylor, Emma Major, Cecil Finks all of Las Vegas, Nv, 15 Grandchildren, 3 great- grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins ,aunties and friends.

Public Visitation will be Friday August 16,2019 at Morning Star Baptist Church #2 from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.

Celebration of Life will be Saturday, August 17,2019 at 2:30 P.M. at the Morning Star Church #2. With the Rev. Felton Burgie officiating. Interment will be held at the Lott Burgy.  Service Entrusted to Sims Mortuary. Sign guestbook online www.simsmortuary.com
