Jarrett James Bradford was born on July 29, 1981, to the union of James & Letri Bradford, III, in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. The second of three children, he was lovingly known as Jay.
Jarrett graduated Georgetown High School, Georgetown, South Carolina in 2000. After graduation, Jarrett enlisted in the US Army in May 2002. He served four years at Wheeler Army Airfield Base, Honolulu, Hawaii. After being honorably discharged from the United States Army, Jarret worked for Arcadia Publishing Company. Jarrett fulfilled his life-long dream of becoming a truck driver in 2013. He worked for Western Express, Jordan Trucking, and was employed with Martin Transportation, Smackover, Arkansas at the time of his death.
On February 14, 2015, Jarrett united in holy matrimony with the love of his life, Angela.
Jarrett lived a very vibrant life. He loved his aquarium filled with fish, playing video games, and Jordan tennis shoes. Jarrett departed his earthly life on November 21, 2019, in Sumter, South Carolina.
Jarrett was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, James Jr. & Inez Bradford, his maternal grandparents, James & Jezeree Buckley, uncle, Albert Bradford and a special cousin, Paul Buckley.
Jarrett’s loving memories will be faithfully cherished by his loving wife, Angela Bradford, El Dorado; parents, James & Letri Bradford, III, Georgetown, South Carolina; four daughters, Naomi Reed, Conway, South Carolina, Heaven Bradford, Virginia Beach, Virginia, Trinity and Zuriel Bradford, Arkadelphia, Arkansas; three bonus sons, Antwaun Dismuke, Jamarvis Dismuke and DeRonald Redden, El Dorado, Arkansas, one special grandson, Jayden Dismuke, El Dorado, Arkansas; one brother, Edmund Bradford, El Dorado, Arkansas, one sister, NiKola
(Henry) Jones, Arkadelphia, Arkansas; two special nephews, Kawahn Bradford, Karter Jones; one niece, Raelyn Bradford and a host of relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.
Public visitation will be on Friday, November 29, 2019, from 2:00 p.m. Until 5:00 p.m. at Sims Mortuary, funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2019, at 1:00 p.m. at Beulah Grove Baptist Church, interment will be at Lott Burgy Cemetery under the direction of Sims Mortuary.
