Gill "Proctor" Grimes

Gill Stanley Grimes was born February 21, 1960, to Willie & Dorothy Grimes in El Dorado, AR. He departed his earthly home on September 20, 2022. Gill gave his life to Christ at an early age.

Gill attended Norphlet High School; over the course of his life, he worked for several companies, Asplundh Tree Service and Apple Tree Service, and he was a faithful employee until his health failed.

Gill enjoyed playing dominoes with his friends, dancing, and hosting events in his famous “man cave.”

Gill is preceded in death by his father, Willie Grimes; mother, Dorothy Grimes; Sister, Tiffany Trezvant; two Children, his grandfather Dallas Howard and George Grimes; and his grandmother, Ora Grimes.

Gill is survived by his two sons, Joshua Grimes of Covington, GA, and Devon Grimes of El Dorado, AR; one daughter Deshawnnae Snowden of Covington, GA,Stepson Dameon Westbrook,  and a very special friend Philander Bradley, one brother George Grimes of El Dorado, AR, eight sisters Connie Grimes, Karen Grimes, Selena Grimes, Jay Jeffers- Bush (Robert), Tracy Saxton, and Tiara Saxton-Smith (Reggie) of Conway, AR. Jackie Roberts (John) of Pine Bluff, AR, and Cerickia Gilmore (Marcus) of Russellville, AR, one aunt, Mary Grimes, one uncle, Luther Ray Grimes, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
