Freddie Lee Richard was born December 24, 1951, in Strong, Arkansas to Thaddis Richard, Sr. and Naeomi Richard Meadows.

He accepted Christ in his later years and united with the Curry Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church. He was a graduate of Gardner High School in Strong, Arkansas.

Freddie began his work career at Conagra Poultry Company in El Dorado, Arkansas, and he was a "Carpenter" by trade. He enjoyed his carpentry skills, trade, and craft; the primary work performed was cutting, shaping, and installation of building materials during the construction of homes and renovations.

Freddie Lee transitioned from this life on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, in Strong, Arkansas, because of a house fire. He united eternally to his final resting place, where he joined his parents.

His memories will be cherished by his son, Warrick Richard of Sacramento, California, one brother, Thaddis Richard (Glenda) of El Dorado, Arkansas, and two sisters, Tina Boykin and Rena Heard, both of Pine Bluff, Arkansas.  sister Katherine Brinkley,  brothers, Marcus Christopher, Andre, and Bobby Heard, all of Pine Bluff, Arkansas. His bonus aunts, Pearlie Mae Washington of Fort Worth, Texas, and Vivian Gatewood of Santa Maria, California. He also leaves seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, extended family, and friends.
