Frankie Lee entered this world on April 4, 1937, born to Frank Barnes and Jessie Inez Byas in El Dorado, AR. Growing up in a large family, he quickly learned the importance of unity and loyalty.
Early in life, Frankie Lee found support in his faith and embraced the teachings of Christ. Throughout his life, he held fast to the values instilled in him by his upbringing, mostly the meaning of family ties.
As he matured, Frankie Lee became known for his strong work ethic and unwavering commitment to his family. His courtship with the late Lurie Mae blossomed into a loving marriage, blessed with the arrival of seven children. His devotion to his wife and children knew no bounds, and they brought him huge happiness and fulfillment.
A pillar of strength and support, Frankie Lee provided for his family with dedication and determination. Though he was a man of few words, his wisdom and counsel were profound and impactful.
In all aspects of his life, Frankie Lee showed the spirit of love, loyalty, and dedication. His legacy lives on through the cherished memories he created with his beloved family.
Frankie Lee was a dedicated employee at Mansfield Sawmill in Huttig, AR, where he devoted many years of his life to hard work and service.
After a long and fulfilling career, Frankie retired from his position at Mansfield Sawmill, leaving behind a legacy of commitment, diligence, and professionalism. His contributions to the company were invaluable, and he will always be remembered for his tireless work ethic and dedication to his craft.
On Monday, May 13, 2024, he passed into the Lord's embrace with his family at his bedside. He was preceded in death by his parents, loving wife Lurie Mae Barnes of Urbana, AR, one son Dwight Barnes of North Little Rock, AR, six sisters, and three brothers.
Though is he no longer with us in body, his irreplaceable presence will be deeply missed by; daughters, Diane Harris (Maurice) of Urbana, AR, Laquetta Barnes of Camden, AR, Jennifer Boddie of Mansfield, TX, Janice Carter of Magnolia, AR, and Crystal Hall (Eddie) of Blanchard, LA, son, Frank Barnes (Tenesha) of Little Rock, AR, 18 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren, three brothers: Robert Barnes of Ashtabula, OH; Raymond Barnes of El Dorado, AR, Kenneth Barnes of Little Rock, AR,; Four Sisters; Dorothy Barnes Burns of Norphlet, AR, Jessie Mae Barnes Billing of Detroit, MI; Ellawee Barnes McMurrian of Urbana, AR, Sycrece Barnes Thomas of Little Rock, AR.
