Evelyn Dansby

Sister Evelyn Faye Dansby was born the third child of Ray Dansby Sr. and Marie Dansby.

She was born October 1, 1955, in Bernice, Louisiana, and departed her earthly life on December 23, 2023, at South Arkansas Regional Hospital in Eldorado, Arkansas.

As a child, she professed her faith in Jesus Christ at Mount Union Baptist Church, Junction City, Arkansas. She attended Rosenwald School during her elementary school-age years and later attended programs for special needs children in Eldorado, Arkansas. Evelyn enjoyed playing solitaire with her cards and watching her favorite television show, The Big Valley. She loved people and food, and people loved her. She was voted the Valentine Queen of Timberlane Health and Rehabilitation Center due to her friendly, positive attitude and popularity in the Center. She was a devoted member of Mount Union Baptist Church until her health began to fail.

Evelyn Faye was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents, a brother-in-law, a niece, and a nephew.

Evelyn Faye leaves to cherish her memories five sisters, Ruthie (Emory) Cheatham, Lois Prows, Dewonda (Gary) Waller, Angela (Bobby) Patterson, Vivian Dansby, and two brothers, Ray Dansby Jr. and Lorenzo Baron Dansby, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
