Earl "Ahart" McDuffie was born on October 29, 1971, to the late Jaculine Ahart-Anderson and Earl McDuffie, Sr., in Chicago, Illinois. On March 2, 2025, Earl transitioned to his heavenly home.

Earl loved to cook, sing, fish, bowl, and spend time with family and friends. He truly lived his life to the fullest, always greeting people with a smile, a dance, and even a hot home-cooked meal to make them smile.

Earl started Job Corps at Little Rock Job Corp Center in 1989. He loved cooking, so he enrolled in the culinary arts trade program. He truly believed he was a professional at cooking, and no one could tell him different. Shortly after Earl graduated from Job Corps, he worked as a dietary aide for Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas. He eventually left ACH and began working for Outback Steakhouse. He was employed there for Ten years. In 2015, Earl Moved to El Dorado, Arkansas, where he reunited with his now Fiancé, Lavonya Brown. While in El Dorado he continued his love and passion for cooking. He worked at Flying Burger, MAD Griffith Restaurant, Applebee's, and Johnny B's. Earl was employed at Oakridge Health and Rehabilitation as the Head Cook.

He was proceeded in death by both his paternal grandparents Kermit and William (Bill) McDuffie, of El Dorado, Arkansas, maternal grandparents Emory and Exie Ahart of Indiana, his mother Jaculine Ahart-Anderson of Chicago, IL, his father Earl McDuffie, Sr., of Chicago, IL, his brother Frankie Ahart of Chicago, IL, and his son Stanley Ahart.

He leaves to cherish his memories to his loving Fiancé' Lavonya Brown of El Dorado, AR, three sisters, Dewanda Ahart of Whitter, CA, Beverly Geiger, and Janine Anderson of Chicago, IL, two brothers, Richard Ahart of Little Rock, AR, Phillip Anderson of Chicago, IL. He had a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
