Sister Diane Crayton (Daisey, Lady D) was born October 26, 1958, in Caledonia, AR. She was the daughter of the late Jimmy Lee Frazier and the late Janie Lee Crayton.
Diane spent a number of years in the Smackover Community. She attended First Baptist Church in Smackover until she moved to El Dorado, AR, and Joined St. James Baptist Church.
Diane enjoyed her time here on this earth. She worked for Hurry Back #7 for 18 years, and she never met a stranger there. She was well known and loved by many. Hurry Back, her co-workers, and customers were her second family. Diane was a dedicated and loyal person and always showed kindness to everyone she met.
Diane was also known for her love of her wigs, make-up, lashes, and fashion. She wasn’t afraid to be who she was. Diane loved to shop for herself, her children, grandchildren. Diane also spent her time ministering to her children, co-workers, and customers. She always had a positive word or scripture to uplift everyone.
Diane ran her race and crossed the finish line on August 4, 2021, at the Medical Center of South Arkansas. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jimmy Lee Frazier and Janie Lee Leslie Jimmy Lee Frazier Jr., Robert Earl Leslie, and one Sister Stephanie Leslie. She leaves to cherish her memories, her children; Yolanda (Sean) Bradford of Camden, AR, LaKisha Caver of Jackson, MS.; LaToya Crayton of El Dorado, AR, Brandon (Norma) Crayton of Austin, TX, her brothers Lavern (Erma), Leon, and Stephon Leslie; sisters; Sherry (Ray) Hill, and Deborah Leslie.
She also leaves to cherish her memory her grandchildren; Chris, Kierra, Desmond, Ka’Mille, Khloe, Alyana, and Brandon. She also has a host of special children that she loved and treated as her own.
