Dexter Jackson

Though today is filled with sorrow, may the cherished memories bring comfort for tomorrow.

His Life & Legacy

Brother Dexter Jackson Sr. was born on November 1, 1961, in El Dorado, Arkansas, to Mary Lee Jackson. On June 23, 2000, he married his best friend, his love, his rock, and his soulmate, Lequita Evans. From that moment on, they were inseparable.

Dexter was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend to so many. He never met a stranger and could light up any room with his infectious laughter and larger-than-life personality. He was the life of the party-he was the party. Whether he was blasting his music, firing up the barbecue grill, cruising through the neighborhood, or enjoying life, you could always count on Dexter to bring joy and laughter wherever he went.

Though St. Louis was his home, his heart belonged to family, good times, and his beloved Houston Texans and Dallas Cowboys. He was kind-hearted, easy-going, and deeply loved by those who knew him. His famous sayings- "It is what it is," "Hello, world," "Fofo," and "What the-" (you know the rest)-will live on in our hearts forever.
