Wednesday, October 11, 2000, God blessed Steven Tubbs and Nancy Smith with a handsome baby boy named Dayshawn Martez Smith; Tuesday evening, December 10, 2024, Dayshawn was called into eternal Rest, sleep peacefully until we meet again. On May 16, 2019, he graduated from South Arkansas Community College with a Technical Certificate in Welding. On May 20, 2019, he graduated from El Dorado High School. His favorite team was the Arkansas Razorbacks, and his favorite color was blue. He was nick-named Spanky by his late great aunt Alberta Smith Sims. All that knew him knew that he stayed "FLY," his favorite phrase to use, "ON ME," and his first job was at Mel's Seafood until they went out of business; he also was employed at Chicken Express, MJB Wood, Del Tin, Subway, Popeyes, Taco Bell, and his current place of employment was at Wendy's.
Not only were his mother and sister the love of his life, but on March 17, 2022, God blessed him with the apple of his eye, Alainee Milan Smith. With open arms and warm smiles, he will be greeted into heaven by his grandmother, Annie R. Reynolds, great grandparents Frank and Katherine Reynolds, Elmer and Francis Smith, Cousin Samaki J.M. Rodgers, and several Aunts and Uncles.
Precious and priceless memories will forever be cherished by his mother, Nancy Smith; Father, Steven Tubbs; daughter Alainee Smith; sisters, Reagan Smith of El Dorado, AR, Adrienne Ray Ford of Big Sandy, TX; Bonus dads, Jerome Davis and Willie Davis, both of El Dorado, AR, special friends Velayzha Thomas and Alex Kemp both of El Dorado, AR, brothers Anthony Fields, Caden Davis, RaQuel Barnett, JaQuveion Richmond all of El Dorado, AR, Mitias Reynolds of North Little Rock, AR, several aunts, uncles, and cousins, grandparents Nadine King, Lavalle & Regina Tubbs, Elmer Charles, and Tammy Smith, Charles & Queen Dixon all of El Dorado, AR, Travis and Sandy Seal of Fort Worth, TX, Dayshawn's kind spirit, genuine love, infectious smile, charismatic personality will be greatly missed by many "ON ME" We love you forever 24.
