Brother David Grayson was born September 28, 1928, in Union Parish, to the late William Jay Grayson and Sally Bell Mayfield. The Lord called him home to a place of peace and rest on Thursday, July 9, 2020, at Courtyard Rehabilitation Center.
At a young age, he professed his faith to Christ and united with First Baptist Church where he remained a faithful member until failing health and the Lord called his home.
He was proceeded in death by his wife, Pearlynn Grayson, (3 children), Betty Riley, Albert Grayson, and Gladdis Lockhart, ( 5 brothers), Ezell Grayson, Sylvester Grayson, George Grayson, Z. D. Grayson, Willian Grayson ( 2 Sisters), Dovie Brown, Mary Mack. Brother Grayson Leaves to cherish his memories, 2 sons, Frank Grayson (Bobbie), David Grayson Jr, (Anna), 1 Sister, Fannie Jenson of Monroe, La. , 12 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and other friends.
