Danny Lee Davis was born May 14, 1944, in El Dorado, Arkansas to the late Leon Davis and Lorene Miller. He went home to be with the Lord on May 30, 2020.
Danny had his own business hauling pulpwood until his health failed. He worked for Pilgrim Pride and J&M Poultry Company.
Danny's hobbies were fishing and playing dominos. He also had a love for baseball in the late 1970’s he played under Velma Sapp as a coach. Danny was the best left-hand pitcher in the South. Danny had a passion for helping others in any way that he could. Danny had his mission in life, and I believe God would say well done Danny.
Danny was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers, James Reynold Miller; Johnny Ray Miller, Allen Dean Miller, Loyld Davis, and the late Odie Faye Buggs.
His loving and fond memories will be cherished by four daughters, Evelyn (Nathaniel) Cobb, Lorraine Davis, Danielle Davis all of El Dorado, Arkansas; Kimberly Davis of Houston, Texas, two sons Antione Hill, and Orlando Hill both of El Dorado, Arkansas. Siblings, Jerry (Joyce) Miller; Jimmy (Janie) Miller; Bobby Miller; Billy Wayne Miller; Floyd (Mary) Davis; Kathy Davis; Sandra Lee Abney. 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren, special friend Gloria Nimmer, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends who will miss him dearly.
And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes, and there shall be no more death neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. Revelations 21:4
