Carolyn Meadors

Carolyn Evans Meadors, age 57, was born December 18, 1965, to the late Forton Evans and Mary Ann Washington-McMurrian in Strong, Arkansas.

Carolyn departed her earthly life on September 1, 2023. She accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age while attending Pleasant Grove Church of God in Strong, Arkansas. Carolyn later started attending Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church NO.2. She loved her family and sports and created precious memories with her grandchildren.

Carolyn Was preceded in death by her son Willie Hicks Jr., Father Forton Evans, Stepfather Robert Lee McMurrian, grandmothers Alburnie Washington and Ethel Lee Evans, and a special nephew Zeketon Jones.

Carolyn is survived by her two daughters, Traca Evans and Shaneice Meadors, both of El Dorado, AR; one son, Johnathan Meadors, of El Dorado, AR, mother Mary McMurrian, of Strong, AR; three sisters, Barbara Morgan (Theo) of Desoto, TX, Alison Howell (Darryl) of Strong, AR, Sonja Evans (Gearld) of El Dorado, AR, Three brothers, Rev. James Andrews (Betty) of El Dorado, AR, Glen Evans (Jeaneice) of Little Rock, AR, Tyrone White of Strong, AR, five grandchildren, Sharayven Williams, Rayleigh Larry, Jamylah Meadors, Jezavion Williams, and Harmoni Meadors all of El Dorado, AR. And a host of nieces, nephews, aunties, uncles, cousins, and a special dear friend Aaron Drayton of Ruston, LA, who will miss her tremendously.
