Carol Coleman was born on November 23, 1955, in Chicago, Illinois to James and Trudie Robinson.
She accepted Christ at an early age. She attended Fenger High School in Chicago, Illinois. Carol was a faithful member of Curry Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Strong, Arkansas. Carol loved serving faithfully on the Fundraising and Kitchen Committees at Curry Chapel.
She enjoyed traveling, playing cards, and online gaming. Carol also enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Carol had an unbreakable bond with her loved ones. She loved them dearly. This love was reciprocated.
Carol departed this life on August 17, 2020. Carol was preceded in death by her father, James Robinson, brothers: John T. Robinson and Earl Robinson Sr. She was also preceded in death by her nephews: Earl Robinson Jr. and Freddie Robinson Jr.
She leaves to cherish her sweet memories her mother, Trudie Robinson of Oakland, Louisiana. Two daughters: LaShawn (Herman) Thomas of Arlington, Texas, and Careonia Williams of Strong Arkansas. Two sons: Glenn (Maggie Bourland) Coleman of Champaign, Illinois, and Glendale (Cheryliendora) Coleman of Champaign, Illinois. Two sisters: Diane (Albert) Johnson of Chicago, Illinois, and Carmen Greer of Strong, Arkansas. Three brothers: James (Denise) Robinson of Crete, Illinois, Freddie Robinson of Dolton, Illinois, and Morris (Sheryl) Robinson of Oakland, Louisiana. Eight grandchildren: Arriun Gatson, Aiyana Billings, LeQulis Champion, DaShawn Coleman, Nevaeh Rhoads, Abrianna Rhoads, Arriana Coleman, and Aria Coleman. Two great-grandchildren: Royalty Gatson and Darriun Gatson. A special great, great nephew Cameron Robinson. She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
