Brittany Powell

Brittany Sade Norwood Powell was born May 8, 1989, in Carson, Ca. to Calvin and Sheila Norwood and later adopted by a childless family couple, Eddie and Gloria Powell. Brittany grew up in Los Angeles County (Inglewood, Ca, Lawndale, Ca.), where she received her education. At an early age, Brittany received Christ as her Savior at Victory Temple Holiness Church under the leadership of the late Pastor John Black Sr. As a young adult, Brittany moved her membership to Ebenezer Baptist Church in Los Angeles, Ca.

Brittany, relocated to El Dorado, Ark. When she moved to El Dorado, Brittany decided to further her education. She enrolled in college at South Arkansas Community College. Brittany was very dedicated to her studies. Brittany made the Dean's List.  Brittany loved her dog, Malachi,  Brittany enjoyed traveling, becoming a foodie, and loved being around family and friends.

Brittany was preceded in death by grandparents Royce and Robertine Grayes, Cortez Norwood Sr. and Mable Norwood, biological father Calvin Norwood Sr., and adopted Parents Eddie and Gloria Powell. 

Brittany's  memories will forever be cherished by her mother, Sheila Norwood of Victorville Ca., and Sister Angela(Kermit) Mills of Killen, Tx. Kimberly Douglas-Whitlock of Richmond, VA., Sade (Torian) Webb of Fort Worth Tx, brothers Darren Norwood of Las Vegas, NV, and Calvin Norwood Jr. of Killen, TX. A host of Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
