Brittany Maywether, beloved wife, mother, and friend, passed away peacefully on April 20, 2025, at the age of 40, with her devoted husband by her side.
She was born on May 15, 1984, in El Dorado, Arkansas to Jearldine Harris and David Welch.
She graduated from El Dorado High School and continued her education at South Arkansas Community College, where she earned an associate's degree.
Brittany lived a life marked by love, strength, and kindness. As a skilled and compassionate medical laboratory technician, she served her community with quiet dedication-working behind the scenes to help heal others and ensure patients received the care they needed.
Brittany will be remembered for her warm heart, generous spirit, sense of humor, and deep love for her family and friends.
Her greatest pride and joy, however, was her family. She is survived by her loving husband, Rico Maywether, and her two children, Kenadi Savannah and Bryson Green, whom she cherished more than anything in the world. Her unwavering love, strength, and warmth shaped the lives of those closest to her, and her legacy will live on in the countless memories shared together.
She is also survived by her mother, Jearldine Harris (Paul); her father, David Welch; her brother, Brandon Maddox; her aunt, Effie Arnold (Titus); her aunt, Shirley Randell; her aunt, Mildred Lark (Jimmy); and a plethora of cousins, friends, and family!
She left this world gently, with the hand of the one she loved most in hers-a reflection of the grace and love she gave to everyone throughout her life.
