Bobby Levingston

Bobby Ray Levingston was born on June 7, 1957, to the late Dossie and Elizabeth Levingston. He transitioned on February 3, 2025, at National Park Medical Center in Hot Springs, AR, after a brief illness.

He was married to the late Gloria Levingston.

He attended school in the El Dorado School District and then entered the workforce at various jobs. He really loved the ones that allowed him to use his hands, like Hampton and Crain Construction. He was a true Mr. Fix-it. Anytime something needed to be repaired, whether it be cars, appliances, electronics, or built or put together, you would hear people say, "Call Bob." He loved playing cards and dominoes, shooting pool, and hanging out with friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Dossie and Elizabeth Levingston; a son, George Moore; his maternal grandparents, Andrew Battle and Nellie Battle Trotter; paternal grandparents, Dossie and Charlotte Levingston; one granddaughter, Madison Levingston; sister, Thenelda Levingston; and three brothers, Allen Scott, Clifford Levingston, and Ronnie Levingston.

He is survived by his sons Laviakio (Monica) Levingston of Little Rock, Demetrio Levingston, James Smith, Demetrius (Talmekia) Smith, and Anthony (Beverly) Smith, all of El Dorado; brother Kerwin Levingston of El Dorado; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous nephews, nieces, and other relatives and friends.
