Bobbie Rea Morris-Buggs

November 13, 1952 — September 11, 2020

Bobbie Rea Morris-Buggs was born November 13, 1952, to the proud parents Mathew Morris and Burnie Lee Ford (Morris). Bobbie married Dewrie Ray Buggs, Sr. on October 2, 1970, and their union lasted for 30 years. To this union her most precious gifts LaTonya, LaTrina, and Ray Buggs Jr.

Bobbie was a member of First St. James Missionary Baptist Church, where she served as Sunday School Teacher, served on the Finance Committee, served as Youth Coordinator, she was a member of Mass and Golden Pioneers Mission Group, Matrons, and started Determined Workers. She assisted with the coffee Ministry and Nursing Home Ministry. Bobbie was a graduate of the El Dorado High School class of 1971.

Bobbie was employed at Precolite for 33 years and was a Supervisor at M & J Cleaning Services.

Her hobbies included spending time with family, studying, and sharing God’s Word and Bob the Builder. Bobbie was a member of the Derrick  City Temple #352.

Bobbie is preceded in death by her parents Matthew and Burnie Lee Morris, sisters, Velma Hill and Bernestine Morris, and brother, Sandy Morris.

Left to cherish her memories her children, LaTonya Richmond (Chris), LaTrina Talley (Chris) and Dewrie Ray Buggs Jr. (Eugenia), Siblings, James Morris (Carolyn), Earnestine Johnson (William), Shirley Clarke (Duke), Willie Morris (Susan), Linda Morris- Parker (Bobby), Jacqueline Morris Nelson, and Angela Smith (Kenneth). Grandchildren, Rayshawn Buggs, Remondo Caver, DeAngelo Buggs, Maritza Caver- Blake (Maurice), Sharavion Caver, Ashanti Brown, Halle Buggs, Breshanna Samuels, Devante Richmond, Reyna Buggs, Debra Buggs, Taliah Bullock, and David Buggs, 8 great-grandchildren, Remondo Caver Jr., Ja'Vion Moody, Jayla Buggs, Malia Blake, Kayla Buggs, Zion Simpson, Julee Jamerson, and Alex Rios, a special friend Michael Freeman, and Surrogate son, Demetrius Smith.
