Betty Jo Hill

February 12, 1941 — April 24, 2018

Betty Jo Hill was born February 12, 1941 in the Old Hillsboro Community of El Dorado, Arkansas to Joe and Lizzie Crew.  She was an active member of New Bethel Baptist Church. She enjoyed fishing and cooking.  She was especially known for her cream pies and banana pudding.

She passed on April 24, 2018, at the Medical Center of South Arkansas.  She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers and five sisters.

She is survived by one sister, Florence Ellen Hart; two sons, Terry Crew and Tony Hill Sr. (Tracy); two daughters, Angela Williams and Casandra Hannah (Kirk); twelve grandchildren, three great grand-children and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends whose lives were enriched by knowing her.

Public visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. on Friday April 27, 2018 at Sims Mortuary. Funeral services at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday April 28, 2018 at New Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Vernon Dean Crew, eulogist. Interment will be in Bethlehem Cemetery under the direction of Sims Mortuary. Sign the guestbook online at www.simsmortuary.com

The pallbearers Chester King Jr., George Crew, Demonte King, Jerry Dean Gill, Antonio Moore and Johnny Ray Gill. Honorary pallbearers will be Dwayne Crew and the Deacons of New Bethel Baptist Church.
