Alice Rebecca Mayweather was born to the late John Hendrix and Allie Fay Pollar in Yuma, Arizona on August 30, 1940.

For many years, Alice called El Dorado, Arkansas, her home. She dedicated herself to the El Dorado School District, driving bus # 5, until her retirement in 2002. Her commitment extended beyond her work, as she found joy in cooking, solving puzzles, sewing, watching TV, and spending time with her family.

Alice was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, Johnnie Mae Polk, Mary Joyce Howard, and Willie Mae McCan, three Brothers, Benny Hendrix, John Hendrix, and Jimmy Hendrix, and one son, Charles Hendrix.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories the love of her life, Q.T. Mayweather, of 70 years of marriage, two children, Linda Perkins and Eddie Mayweather of El Dorado, AR, four grandkids, Anita Greene, LaDeas Foreman, Shanay Perkins, and Spencer Mayweather, six great-grandkids, Ja'Kiem Woods, Ja'Kel Woods, Ja'markus Perkins, Ra'lee Cage, Ja'Kayveon Perkins, and Rayden Mayweather, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
