Alex Gusby

Alex was born July 15, 1959, to Flossie Owens and the late Alex Owens. Alex Attended ElDorado High School and Graduated in 1977.

Alex loved the lord and started going to church at a young age. For over 40 years he was a faithful and loyal member of the Miles Memorial COGIC where he served as an Usher, he loved to Grill and he was a deacon. Whatever the church needed, if he had it or if he could get it the church had it. He was crazy about his pastor and the members of the church.

Alex was the father of 2 sons, whom he loved and they loved him.  Alex was married to Lois Gusby.  Alex Worked for Preston Dennis Construction, Hargett Construction, and a Faithful Friend Dan.

Alex was proceeded in death by His father Alex Owens, his grandparents, two Brothers - Floyd Austin and Billy Rae Gusby and one sister Anna Bell Gusby.

His Love will forever live on in the hearts of his Mother Flossie Owens, two sons Marcus Gusby, and Carlos (Rosalyn) Gusby both of ElDorado, Ar. son Donovan Ramey, one brother Eddie Gusby of Eldorado, Ar. two daughters Tamara Joe and Santana Minor both of Camden, AR., two sisters Patricia Gusby and Lorraine Owens both of ElDorado Ar. a Special Relative Mother Mary Frazier. Four Grandchildren and one Great Grandchild. A host of other Friends and Relatives and the entire Miles Memorial Church Family.

Public Visitation Friday, March 27, 2020, at Sims Mortuary 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m., Funeral service will be Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at Miles Memorial COGIC, interment will be at Lott Burgy Cemetery under the direction of Sims Mortuary. Sign the guestbook at simsmortuary.com
