Aleshia Brown-McMurrian

Aleshia Nicole (Nikki) McMurrian was born on November 7, 1983, to the union of John J. Brown Jr. and Dorothy Levingston Brown. She joined Union Arc Baptist Church at an early age, where she enjoyed singing in the church choir. Aleshia attended the El Dorado Public schools and graduated from El Dorado High School in 2002. She extended her education at Remington Technical College in Little Rock, where she received a certification as a Medical Assistant. She was a team leader at Gainwell technologies in Conway, Arkansas.

Aleshia married her first love and childhood sweetheart Corey Oneal McMurrian in 2011. This union produced two children: Anyla McMurrian and Corey (CJ) McMurrian Jr. After a brief illness, she departed this earthly life on September 3, 2021, at UAMS in Little Rock.

Aleshia was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Johnny and Annie Mae Bass Levingston and her paternal grandparents John J. Brown Sr. and Arlethia Jackson. Aleshia leaves to cherish her memories her devoted husband Corey, their two children Anyla and CJ of Conway, Arkansas, her mother Dorothy of El Dorado, Arkansas. Her father, John of Jacksonville, Florida. One sister, Kenyatta Brown of Conway, Arkansas. Three brothers, Joshua Brown of El Dorado, Arkansas, Kenya Brown of Conway, Arkansas, and Julian Brown of Hawaii. She also leaves to cherish her memories, her aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of relatives and friends.
