Evonne Snowden

Sis. Evonne Snowden was born on November 2, 1951, in El Dorado, Arkansas, the daughter of James and Claudia Faye May Snowden. She departed this life on Tuesday, December 26, 2006 at the Hudson Nursing Home, El Dorado, Arkansas. She was a member of St. Vestal C.M.E. Church. Evonne was a driver and a caregiver for South Arkansas Developmental Center. Her maternal grandparents, Robert and Dezerra Suide, her paternal grandparents, Reason and Sarah Meeks Snowden, a brother, John Eric Snowden. She leaves to cherish her precious memories, one son, Rodney Lamar Moody of El Dorado, Arkansas; her parents, two brothers, Bernard Snowden of Desoto, Texas and Billy Ray Snowden of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; two sisters, Janice Faye Meeks and Beverly Schultz both of El Dorado, Arkansas; grandchildren and one great-grandchild. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 30, 2006 at St. Vestal C.M.E. Church , El Dorado, Arkansas with the Rev. Larry Shaw offficiating. There will be no visitation. No funeral. The remains were cremated. Cremains will be interred at Lott Burgy Cemetery under the direction of the Sims Mortuary Staff. The family will be at 722 East Cook, El Dorado, Arkansas.
