Sis. Gaudie Lee Ewing was born on august 29, 1925, in Lincoln Parish, Louisiana, the daughter of Hazel and Bertha West Fuller. Gaudie Lee was called to her heavenly home on Saturday, December 16, 2006 at Cornerstone Hospital in West Monroe, Louisiana. She accepted Christ at an early age and united with the Jerusalem Quinn Baptist Church in El Dorado, Arkansas where she remained faithful until death. She was a retired Housekeeper at Oak Ridge Nursing Home. Her parents, two sisters, four brothers, one grandson and one great-grandson precede her in death. Gaudie Lee leaves precious memories to be cherished to her loving husband, O.B. Ewing of El Dorado, Arkansas. Her children; six sons, Otis B. Ewing(Shirley) of Southfield, Michigan, Curtis Unice(Connie) of Hampton, Arkansas, Rev. Carl Ewing(Wendy), Timothy Ewing, Obie Lee Ewing all of Pontiac, Michigan and Emanuel Ewing(Patrice) of Antioch, Tennessee and four daughters; Faye Wade, Flossie Hall, Marilyn Stephen all of El Dorado, Arkansas and Beverly Ford(Edward) of Crossett, Arkansas. Two brothers; Lloyd Fuller and Odell Fuller both of Dallas, Texas; three sisters, Mattie Lee of Smackover, Arkansas, Loretta Woods of Harrell, Arkansas and Ava Jackson of Pine Bluff, Arkansas. She leaves 39 grandchildren and 45 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Homegoing Services will be held at Douglas Chapel Baptist Church, El Dorado, Arkansas on Tuesday, December 26, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Carl Ewing officiating. Visitation at the funeral home will be on Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2006 from 8:30-9:30am. The body will lie in state at the Church from 12:00 noon until funeral time. Interment will follow in the Jerusalem Quinn Cemetery under the direction of the Sims Mortuary Staff The family will be at 699 O'Rear Cut-Off, El Dorado, Arkansas.
