Ruthel "Aunt Bobbie" Owens was born July 11, 1926 to Fannie Mae Mosley and Horace Evans. She was a member of New Mt. Union Baptist Church. She departed this life Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at the John R. Williamson Hospice House. Ruthel was preceded in death by her parents Fannie Mae Mosley and Horace Evans, her husband Booker T. Owens, two brothers Hozie Noble, Jr. and Willie Roy Evans, one sister Ceola Bridges. Ruthel leaves to cherish her legacy; two sons Rev. James George(Mary)Robert Bruce Owens, one duaghter Barbara Hill(Paul) a very special sister in law Mattie Noble, all of Junction City, Arkansas, one brother Willie D. Evans of El Dorado, ARkasnas. Three granddaughters Shaun George Hill(Terrace) Jammie Smith both of Junction City, Arkansas, Kelly Owens of Texarkana, Texas; three grandsons Kwettrone Hill of Dallas, TExas, Tyrone Owens of Texarkansa, ARkansas and Jamarquez Owens of Junction City, Arkansas; eight gret grandchildren, several nieces, nephew and many many friends and love ones whom she treated like her own. She was truly everyone's Aunt Bobbie!. A Homegoing Celebration for Aunt Bobbie will be held on Thursday, July 29, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at New Mount Union Baptist Church, Junction City, Arkansas with Rev. James E. George. Interment will follow in the Community Cemetery, Junction City, Arkansas under the direction of the Sims Mortuary Staff. Visitation at the funeral home Wednesday,July 28, 2010 from 9am to 5pm and Thursday, July 29 from 830am to 930am.
