Deacon Millard Reed Williams was born on December 1,1934 in the New London Community to Hebert Sr. and Irene White- Williams who proceed him in death. He ended his Christian walk with Jesus on February 7,2018 at the John Williamson Life Touch Hospice in El Dorado, Arkansas. Millard was also preceded in death by his son Spencer T. Williams, a grandson Kenard S Clemons, a brother Marshall Williams, three sister’s Lucille Smith, Louise Smith and Virginia Williams. He leaves to cherish his memories a loving wife of 55 years Leola Daniels Williams of Strong, Arkansas, daughter Zandra Williams of Strong, Arkansas, two granddaughters Petronia Dixon of Little Rock, Arkansas, Petrinia Bankston of Strong, Arkansas, an adopted son in love Ja’Kori Lumsey of El Dorado, Arkansas, a grandson Miterria Dismuke of Kansas City, Kansas. A brother Herbert Williams Jr of El Dorado, Arkansas. He became a member of the Ebenezer Baptist Church at an early age where he has served as a Deacon, Assistant Sunday School Superintendent and BTU President until his health begin to fail. Where he studied God’s word daily for a better understanding and knowledge of the bible. Millard was employed with Lion Oil Refinery in El Dorado, Arkansas for 38 years. He worked as a boiler maker and as maintenance worker where he encouraged his co worker’s with his loving smile and generous heart. He was a master hunter of: Deer, Coon and Squirrel and known for his famous dog call. He also was a fisherman and farmer who enjoyed sharing everything he had with a smile and expected nothing in return. He will be missed by everyone he encountered. Family Hour will be 6:00-7:00 p.m. Monday, February 12, 2018 at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Strong Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Strong with Minister Willie Smith, eulogist. Interment will be at Ebenezer Cemetery under the direction of Sims Mortuary.
