"The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want..." Psalms 23 Pearl Josephine Goodwin was born in Magnolia, Arkansas on December 16, 1932 the daughter of Fred and Carrie Ann Williams Johnson. She was employed as a janitor and as a machine operator for Amercable and for the Arkansas Department of Health. She united in holy matrimony to the late Caudy Goodwin. She departed this life on October 31, 2009 at her residence. At an early age she professed Christ and later united with the Grace Christian Center under the leadership of Rev. Buzzy Sutherlin. There she remained faithful until her health failed. Along with her parents and her husband preceding her in death were her children, Joseph Harris, Carrie Ann Jones and Willie Jones Edwards. She leaves to cherish her loving memories; two brothers, James Johnson of El Dorado, Arkansas and Marvin Johnson of Ohio; three sisters, Edna Faye Roach of Texarkana, Texas, Betty Thompson of El Dorado, Arknasas and Gloria Lee Jackson, Dallas, Texas; a host of granchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends; one very special cousin who served as a caregiver, son and a friend to Mrs. Goodwin. He devoted his life to serve and care for her. Many days his body grew tired, but he didn't give up. He held on to the strength of God to fulfill a promise that he made. I(Larry h. Lee, Sr.) will take care of Mrs. Pearl Josephine Goodwin until the day is done. He did just that. Well done Mr. Larry Lee. May God bless and keep you is our prayer. Homegoing Services for Sis.
