Julia L. Cooper Causey, 87 of El Dorado entered into eternal rest Thursday October 26, 2017 at her residence. She was born February 4, 1930 in El Dorado, AR to Willie Cooper and Blanche Bradford Cooper. She was a faithful member of New Bethel Baptist Church where she served with a true heart of a servant in many capacities. She was a retired school teacher. She had a passion for teaching which was demonstrated in over 30 yrs of service for the El Dorado School District and as youth Sunday School teacher at her church. She especially excelled in working with young children in an effort to instill in them the love of God. Julia was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands; Albert Williams, Jr. and Howard Causey and step daughter, Albertine Williams Vaughn. Survivors include her daughter, Delores A. Boler of El Dorado; two step-sons, Clifton (Wilma) Causey of El Dorado and Anthony (Kelly) Causey of Arlington, TX; five step-grandchildren, seven step great-grandchildren and four step great-great grandchildren. A special cousin, Mary L. Eubanks of Pine Bluff, AR and a host of other relatives and friends. Services will be Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at 11:00 am at New Bethel Baptist Church with Dr. Bobby D. Patterson, eulogist. No public visitation all viewing will be after the service. Interment at Lott Burgy Cemetery under the direction of Sims Mortuary. Pallbearers will be Brother Andrew Roberson, Brother Robin Nation, Brother Zachary Lovett, Brother Brandon Island, Brother Freddie Billings and Brother Emory.
