Freddie Williams

Freddie C. Williams was born May 4, 1938 in Camden, AR. He was born to Alice Pace and helped raised by his grandfather Finas Pace and Calvin Williams. He peacefully went to sleep in death on June 13, 2017. At a young age, Freddie C. went to the military. Upon returning from the military he married the love of his life, Earlie Mae Williams in 1959, whom he spent 58 years with. Freddie C. was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on October 4, 1964. He was assisted into the truth by Brother Sherman Benjamin. At the time, the congregations were segregated. After Brother Benjamin moved, Freddie C. was the only congregation servant in the black congregation in El Dorado, Arkansas. He had the privilege of sharing in the integrating of the black and white congregations in El Dorado, and became an elder which allowed him to aid many people in the way of Jehovah. As a servant of Jehovah, he was the first book study conductor in Strong and El Dorado, Arkansas. He served faithfully as an elder in the El Dorado congregation until his dying day. Freddie C. had his own cleaning business and later worked and retired from Great Lakes Chemical Company. He was preceded in death by his mother, Alice Pace, his father Calvin Williams, his brother, Yjuang Pace, and his four sisters: Freddie Mae Grant, Juanita Monk, Beverly El Jechi, and Anita Spencer. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Earlie Mae, seven sons, Ridgley Williams (SheriLynn) of East Orange, NJ, Solano Williams (Cynthia) of Orlando, FL, Losano Williams (Leila) of Colorado Springs, CO, Tonie Williams (Barbara) of Jacksonville, AR, Sankeno Williams (Angela), Lorinzo Williams (Carolyn), and Joseph Williams (Gremeka) all of El Dorado, AR; two daughters, Thomasine Kelley of Little Rock, AR and Adenia White (Lamond) of El Dorado, AR; two brothers, Willie Williams (Dinah) of Lorraine, OH and Bernard Williams of El Dorado, AR; three sisters, Carolyn Harding (Clarence) of McKinney, TX, Valerie Monk of Los Angeles, CA, and Barbara (Dwight) of Camden, AR, 11 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, as well as a host of family, friends, and loved ones. Public visitation will be Thursday, June 22, 2017 from 12 noon until 4:30 p.m. at Sims Mortuary. Funeral services will be at 1:00 on Friday, June 23, 2017 at the Municipal Auditorium. Interment will be in Lott Burgy Cemetery under the direction of Sims Mortuary.
