Auther Louis Hinton was born on February 9, 1936 to Sylvester Hinton and Octavie Roberson in El Dorado, Arkansas. He was a supervisor at Dixie Maintenance and was a member of First Apostolic Church. He passed on April 3, 2017 and was preceded in death by his parents and one sister. He leaves two sons, Terry Hinton of El Dorado and Sinatra Hinton of California; four daughters, Barbara Hinton of El Dorado, Carolyn Adams (Kalvin) of El Dorado, Sandra Bearden-Gardner (Ray) of California, and Shelia Hinton (Jamie) of California; special daughters, Teresa Marks, Eileen Henry (Todd), Wanda “Paleface” Andrews and Shirley Luster; a special friend, Lurenne “PeeWee” Charles; one brother, Charles Gant of Louisiana and one sister, Addie Bella Aaron of California. He also leaves fifteen grandchildren ten great-grandchildren and host of nieces, nephews, other relative and friends. Public visitation will be Friday, April 7, 2017 from 12 noon until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral service will be held at First Apostolic Church on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with Apostle Herbert Baker, eulogist.
